DNS Problem with MS Virtual PC

I use MS Virtual PC for some browser testing. Recently the DNS in it stopped working. After trying a few things and doing a Google search, I came upon a page that suggested that I switch to "shared networking" mode. So I got it to work after changing that setting and setting those virtualized copies of Windows to automatically obtain their IP Address and DNS Server settings. It's so nice not to have to manually edit the hosts file when I want to look at a public site in one of the browsers.
