Why I haven't been posting...

The reason I haven't been posting is that I got fed up with Blogger just a few days after creating this blog. I considered using WordPress and TextPattern but then I decided I would create my own blog system. So, I've been working on it. I hope it will be done or at least in beta testing by the end of the month. (Though of course I'll probably make changes and add some new features after I declare it done.)

So to avoid having to move posts from this to the new system, I have abstained from posting.

If any people from DevShed or SitePoint forums who have been members for at least 6 months would like to participate in the upcoming beta test please use the contact form to tell me.

The Template is Done... for now, anyway

I've got the template looking more like the two other page styles of this site now.

Unfortunately, some elements are added automatically and there doesn't seem to be a way to remove them.

Also there doesn't seem to be a way to make the ampersands in the URLs be changed into &.

Eventually I may switch to Textpattern in order to have more control. WordPress isn't an option because my development and production servers don't meet its version requirements.

My First Post

Stunning title, huh? Well it is descriptive anyway.

I guess I should edit the template.

I wonder if there's a way to fix the URLs to use character entities?
